KL trip - September 2011

So, I was at KL for a week from 9th September. The main purpose was to attend 2 good friends wedding (next blog post). Other than that, I was glad to catch up with some friends and went to Singapore for a short holiday within a holiday :p

Being back to KL this time make me realized a few things; mostly about relationships with family and friends. As usual, you never cease learning, even from strangers. Had 'reunion' at the wedding - high school mates and all that. Also had dinner with relatives from mum's side and grandma. Sometimes relationship can be so complicated; yet at times it can be so simple.

In the mornings, we went for breakfast along the roadside - famous in Malaysia. Parents have a few 'kakis'; and sometimes you can learn so much from them. Perhaps just enjoying the simplicity of life over a cup of teh tarik - that would be good enough; and it makes you reflect on your past and also expectations of what to come.

Being back to KL - perhaps it seem like second home now - sometimes the question is: Where exactly is home? Settling down in Brisbane is good - perhaps a better future for the next generation. But then, KL will always be home I guess. From what I heard with this trip back - it seem like it is getting more and more difficult to survive in KL. Perhaps then it is a good decision to pursue my Australia's citizenship.

Had fun in KL; 'til then - see you in June
